Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) lies at the heart of what Grass Routes
believes in and we are not alone. A recent survey by the Chartered
Institute of Personnel Development found that nearly 90% of respondents
selected the company they wanted to work for by the social values
that company adhered to.
Grass Routes has a long track record of working
in and for the community. We have worked with the Probation service,
the Social Services, the Police, Operation Raleigh, Barnardo’s,
Bristol Children’s Hospital, RYLA Rotary Youth Leadership
Awards as well as with many schools from disadvantaged inner city
areas.
The Synergy Programme
Synergy has been developed in collaboration with
the Bristol Children's Help Society, a charity which has helped
disadvantaged children for over a 100 years. The objective is to
design and deliver a programme of activities to 35 disadvantaged
8-10 year old children, so good that the children will never forget
it.
The
venue is Barton Camp near Winscombe in the Mendip Hills and the
training is residential, taking place over seven days. The result
is a dramatic learning achievement that provides participants with
excellent management and leadership skills.
We have achieved great success with all levels
of management, from graduate recruits to senior managers. Grass
Routes will design your programme to meet your needs.
What participants have said about
the Synergy Programme:
"Barton camp provides for the practical study
of organisational structure and management. As well as creating
their own organisation, the participants have to manage the children,
the camp, the programme and themselves. The experience will contribute
to their personal development and effectiveness at work, as well
as to their life skills. They will also have fun and feel good about
their contribution to the community" Head of training, Rolls Royce
"Synergy
is frontline management training at its most extreme, providing
learning that surpasses theoretical understanding that is deeply
embedded." Clarks Participant.
"Spend your money on the Synergy Programme
as you will get a direct return on your investment." Head of Organisational Development, Halfords.
Safety
All staff and participants are checked and cleared
by the Criminal Records Bureau. Full safety procedures are followed
at all times. Grass Routes and BCHS carry insurance cover in excess
of £10million.
