Leadership and Teamwork
LeadershipIn 1988 we ran our first leadership development programme. Since then we have enhanced the leadership abilities of staff from all levels, from graduates to senior management. We design our programmes in close liaison with our clients. Most of these programmes can be delivered as modular sets or a full residential.
We offer a full spectrum of leadership interventions ranging from business simulations and inputs at a strategic level through to blended learning packages for junior and middle management. Our programmes are known as much for their innovation as their quality with each being designed with the client to meet their needs. “The programme content gave those present a firm grounding in the principles of management, as well as providing for personal development and heightening the graduate’s company awareness. It is widely believed that the friendships and contacts made throughout the week will continue to be a source of encouragement, advice and support at Siemens. As a result, staff morale, staff retention, and the attractiveness of the graduate scheme have all been enhanced by the programme” The course was well planned and prepared and was delivered excellently. All of the participants gained a lot from the weekend and just as importantly enjoyed it. Particular comment was made regarding professionalism of the tutors." |
Team Development

The interior of a newly designed aeroplane wing is very sophisticated, requiring several teams to work effectively together as one larger team to produce a product fit for purpose. In the febrile atmosphere of cutting-edge manufacturing, often perhaps the most important ingredient - the team - is ignored.
Rather than making this mistake, we were asked to design a package which would help the teams to work together more effectively and for them to have some fun whilst learning. We designed a 3-day fully-residential package which included team work theory and practice, delivered from an activity centre in the Mendip hills, Somerset. The 24 participants included the Chief engineer and all of the team working on the project.

"Many thanks for putting together and managing our course. We have received very positive feedback from all involved, and from the wider community who have witnessed changes in behaviours since our return. The challenge now is building on the energy created within the team!"
